How to take Propecia

Propecia comes in 1 mg tablets. The normal recommended dose for Propecia hair loss treatment is one 1 mg tablet daily. Propecia tablets should be swallowed whole. Do not crush or chew them. Do not stop taking Propecia unless directed by your doctor.

Propecia precautions

Propecia is for men only. If your partner is pregnant or planning on pregnancy, she should not come in contact with your semen during your treatment. Any contact with Propecia by a developing male fetus could result in birth defects or abnormalities with genitalia development. You should know that Propecia has a tendency to lower a specific antigen in your body. Therefore Propecia may interfere with PSA tests readings. PSA tests are used to detect prostate cancer in males.

Propecia side effects
